A Return to Symphony Space

With every concert, there is a new moment to shine! Our family is very busy lately with musical performances almost every night of the week! We’re tired from all of the late nights traveling in the frigid weather. However, I wouldn’t trade this wonderful, musical life for a calmer life. COMPETITION DAY
Today my girls are at our local college competing at a special strings competition. In fact, they are actually competing against each other! However, the two girls are not at each other’s throats, they are helping to support one another. It is gratifying to see how this event turned out to be a bonding experience from which they may learn and grow. Most importantly, they will grow closer as siblings and create more memories that will last a lifetime.

Today is the big day! It’s audition time for the Kids On Stage program with the New York Pops. We worked on two octave scales, three octave chromatic, a prepared piece and sight reading.
